I have that same saw and it has been great. The fence is really accurate for not being a cabinet saw.

Just remember to wax your top. Mine has more than a few rust sports in it.

I got one from Lowes a couple of months ago and I'm very happy with it so far.

Why not just get a vintage Unisaw. Mine is fantastic and wasn’t crazy money.

I just used mine an hour ago!

I got it about 8 months ago.  I used to have a Delta Unisaw and it was definitely better (way more solid, 220V, but also over 400lb).  For what this thing is, it's not bad.  Perhaps one of the best of its kind.  Installing the cheap sheet metal wings was a pain to get lined up right.  The alternative solid metal wings would be nicer but are also more expensive and makes it a lot more heavy.  The mobility is really nice, and it is quick to adjust the pads to get a really solid base.  Dust collection isn't too bad, at least it has it.  I made sure to align my blade to the slots within at least a couple thousandths and wasn't too hard to do, just find the right youtube video .   The fence it comes with isn't bad once its aligned properly.

It's a good alternative for the bigger and heavier and more expensive Unisaw (or sawstop, or powermatic, or even grizzly).

Bosch only has portable contractor saws.

It wouldnt hesitate to get the delta, is it top of the line? No.   It does work pretty damn good and I have no real complaints after 3 years of pretty solid use.

I'm looking for a step up from what I have now until I have the space, experience and need for a solid cabinet saw.

Did you have any issues installing the table extensions?  I can't get them flush with the table.

I used a three foot level as a straight edge laid across the table to line everything up. I had to work at it a bit but it turned out fine.

They're better but still not perfect.  I tore it down and started over with mounting the rails.  Both extensions are concave in the middle but my fence no longer catches sliding across the table.  About the best it's going to get.

It won't be perfect, even on ~$3,000 cabinet saws, you'll have imperfectly ground tops and alignment isses.

It took a good bit of work, and more than one attempt, to get the extension wings on my Unisaw flush, and I used aluminum foil as a shim. On a saw with stamped steel wings, you'll never get them perfect, good enough is about the best you can hope for and a concave surface is better than convex.

I ditched my 5 year Ridgid table saw for a hybrid table saw.

A Lugana F2 fusion for $1800. 100x better than that ridgid POS.
1.75 HP motor
37 inch rip capacity
Cast Iron table
Motor mounted to trunion, no vibration
Riving knife is parallel to the blade

I've owned a Rigid for almost 20 yrs.
No complaints. Prefer is over the Delta any day.
