Most small dogs are obnoxious little yap factories with Napoleon complexes.
Corgis, on the other hand are lovable and chill. |

They’re not really small, they just have stumpy legs.
Well, one of mine is small. But they are the best dogs, that part is true. |

[#2]
Not all. Our neighbors Corgi has a Napoleon Complex. Their previous one was cool as could be.

Used to breed Pembroke Welsh Corgis so I do like them but, they are patrol freaks, they will wear a path around the edges of your yard as they tirelessly check for intruders.

Mini schnauzers is best. Chill, smart, no shedding, protective, good with kids.

Corgis always remind me of those ugly, minotaur-like women you see from time to time. They are even worse than the chicks who look like their arms are floating away from their body due to huge lats....except it's fat. They usually have broad shoulders and tapered asses.

A buddy had one with separation anxiety
if you left the kitchen and went downstairs it would bark at the kitchen door in a loop |

My in laws corgi was awesome, except he was super hyper and liked to bark a lot.

If they're good enough for the Queen of England...
Grew up with them. My parents for decades mostly had corgis. I clearly remember Max and Happy working together to herd my toddler daughter around their backyard. |

My wife begged me for a corgi. We ended up with BulletTheCorgi. He’s a goofy little clown with two modes: off and MAXIMUM. Very obedient if treatos are involved, otherwise he dgaf what you want. Second pic is him waiting for his bday steak. Attached File Attached File |

Wrong. Terriers are best small dogs. Smart, athletic and do a great job of removing vermin from the yard. Very good watch dogs as well.

A Corgi is the only small dog I would ever have. I’ve had the chance to play with a few and they were all great critters. I smile every time I see one.

Corgis are cool. Mine is 1/2 corgi (pug on the other half), but he's all Corgi in temperament....loves to herd, chase, and act like he's 900% bigger than he is.

Corgis tend to bark a lot. I like Dorgis more than Corgis (created by the Queen when she bred her Corgi with a Dachshund).
But Cavalier King Charles Spaniel's are at the top of the small dog list. |

I've owned about every herding breed but a Corgi. I've seen them work and they are capable little dogs but I got hung up on Aussies years ago.
