I believe SOP in this situation is for all congressmen to put grocery bags over their heads, run into the basement and have an unarmed woman shot.

Quoted: So they are getting her on a technicality. "you set off our metal detector. It says right here in the manual you are not to be allowed to enter the chamber if you set off the metal detector. I can get a supervisor if you like, but we don't know how long it will be before they are available to speak with you". View Quote "Meh! Call the president, I'll wait..." |

I thought we were against "rules for thee, but not for me"?
Fuck, I can't keep up |

Good for her and glad to have her here as an ally. Her Glock needs its sights replaced.

Quoted: It looks like they can. I just looked it up. Pelosi tried to squash it and change the rules so they couldn't it looks like. But according to what I read, they can carry. What Glock does she carry? Almost looks thicker than a 26/27 View Quote Yeah that picture looks like a fake prop gun. Definitely too thick to be a 26 or 27, thicker than a 21. It looks like a 2x4 |

I thought they could carry, just not into committee meetings? That’s where they stopped Cruz last time.

My hands hurt from clapping.
We were in Buena Vista Co. last September and she had what seemed like a great presence with her advertising efforts. |

A Congress member is exempted from arrest while attending a session of the body to which the member belongs, excluding an arrest for treason, breach of the peace, or a felony.
She can stand there and argue with them as long as she wants with no repercussions to her. |

My understanding is that members of Congress are exempt from rules/policies against entering the Capitol while armed, so I don't see what the stand-off is. The members of many state legislatures also have this exemption as well as do most sitting judges in their respective venues. I'm failing to see the problem here. What am I missing?
