There are numerous cases where self defense have been scrutinized in the court of law. Some cases, rather cut and dry, have been dragged out to an unnecessary level. I've heard these things can easily cost 100s of thousands of dollars.

I've dug through here and haven't seen any posts about it so I'm curious. Are these concealed carry organizations (USCCA, CCW Safe, etc.) claiming to defend you in court if you are forced to defend yourself legitimate?

The ones you named feel pretty "commercialized" to me.

ACLDN was more my style.  If my wife ever had to make a late-night call to Marty or Massad, I'd be okay with that.

Never had to use it but CCW Safe seems to offer the best services and has a history of actually defending people in court.

I have one, it's called the U.S. Army.

As long as you have orders to take out a known hostile, you're covered. No hassle, no prosecution. Just part of the job.

You need to make sure they will pay the full cost of defenses. Also be sure about whether there is a "clawback" provision, where you need to pay back the cost of defense under certain circumstances.
