He was good at playing baddies.

He was also a consummate Tolkien fan. He actually wanted to play Gandalf, but if i recall correctly, it was a health issue that put him in the role as Saruman. He knocked that part out of the park, but i bet he could have done one hell of a Gandalf.

I think he was also fluent in like five languages. That old man was legit.

I need to get around to watching the old Hammer Horror films with Him and Peter Cushing.
