This thread really escalated. I listened to the Craighead part of it. You can tell he appreciates what America offers far more than many Americans even with all its flaws. Didn't finish this one yet, but why does the UK govt have such a hard on for stopping him from telling the story of what happened? It doesn't seem he is giving up any classified technical or operational information, or even saying anything overtly negative about that government or military. |

I started watching the SRS interview on youtube last night. Very interesting to hear his story. Also very interesting is that he received an email from his command (?) just before the interview started more less threatening legal action from what I could pick out from them talking about it. I'd like to know if that was just coincidence, or if his command knew and did it purposely? It almost seems like they have people watching him. |

Their legal justification is that he signed a NDA, agreeing to MoD review and changes, then didn't make the changes. On his side of that, MoD essentially gutted the entire book, something like 23 chapters they wanted gone in their entirety. That's the legal justification; I suspect their motive is different, but I don't know exactly what that is. |
