As many of you know Pete, aka Vengarr on Arfcom, has passed following years of health struggles.
Those that knew him personally knows he was fiercely loyal to his friends and to those who knew him professionally (as an FFL/SOT) he was a helluva guy to deal with. There will be a celebration of Pete's life on Saturday July 15th 6.30p-9p at Knob Creek Range. There are two places to signup, ARFCOM (and small local shooting club) and a Facebook group his wife organized. If you wish to go please only reply how many will be attending to ONLY ONE forum/social media to prevent duplicates To ensure the catering is accurate as can be, please reply by July 5 Any questions let me know. Need to start the Pete shoot with tannerite under a can of gas. Pete would be disappointed if that doesn't happen.

Too far out to know for sure, but most likely will be attending.
Met a few good people at a Knob Creek night shoot that he hosted. Shot the shit with him for hours anytime I had a transfer go to him. Too bad his health took a turn and we never got a chance to hit up the Brazilian BBQ joint downtown like we discussed. |
