So with modern tech and CNC you should be able to produce such a thing on a line like sausages.
Stick it in everything from your econobox to the Corvette and save money. Sequential Turbo's for everybody!
When can I start as a automotive exec?

Not a practical motor for me.

Reliability?
Fuel economy?
Cost?
Ease of manufacture?
Commonality across product lines?

Well Mercedes has a 4L twin turbo V8
I will admit that it is pretty damn compact, but good Lord is in an absolute bitch to do anyting on without taking the whole thing out of the car

We did, it's called the LS-based motors. V8 'Murican power for the win.

Most people don't give a shit about speed, they just want reliability and good fuel economy.

You can get a camaro or mustang drivetrain with better numbers and 1000x more reliable.
If you're going to go through all the work of making a f40 engine, you could make a better engine all together.

Not on the .gov approval list, move to the back of the line Komrade.

... Average RPM is way too high for a daily driver and respective maintenance attention an engine like that needs

3/4 ton pickup with that engine v. my diesel cummins? Yeah, I'll stick with diesel.

@littlepony
Does that use a sequential setup for the turbo's? (honest question)
Happy customers with sequential turbo boost + more billable hours for you !
With me as an auto exec everybody but Greta wins

Meh, I'll take the F50 engine. Naturally-aspirated and V12. Turbos sound like crap.

N/A V12's just won't fit in the econobox range.

People don't like overhead cam v8s for swaps. They take up way too much room.
Pushrod v8s are way more compact

Sure, that'll be $12,000 for a set of plugs, a tune up and an oil change.
Oh, it's an Accord? That'll be $13,500, though it was a Civic.
