Got a chance over the holidays to visit family in a state with real liquor stores so I indulged. The whole state owned ABC store thing is dumb.

I’m still perplexed by these stated with weird alcohol rules. Worst thing I can think of here is that after a certain time you can’t sell it.

NC has state run liquor stores? How bad is it?
My only experience with state-run is buying bourbon in NH once. Besides limited selection, locations, and hours what other problems does this cause? |
