I scored a great deal on an Ampeg PF-500 amp this morning but now I need to get a cab for it. I found another great deal on a PF-210HE but I'm wondering if I should risk it and see what BF holds. I checked Sweetwater and they don't appear to have any good amp deals. Same for Musician's Friend.
I tried it out with a PF-115 at Guitar Center and it sounded nice but not quite what I wanted. I really want multiple speakers. I tried with an older, non-Portaflex 210 Ampeg cab and it sounded great. The 4x10 was super thumpy but I don't have the room in my studio for that. |
