Brilliant!

WASHINGTON -- Inspired by the New Deal-era Civilian Conservation Corps, President Joe Biden and congressional Democrats are pushing for a modern counterpart: a Civilian Climate Corps that would create hundreds of thousands of jobs building trails, restoring streams and helping prevent catastrophic wildfires.

Building on Biden's oft-repeated comment that when he thinks of climate change, he thinks of jobs, the White House says the multibillion-dollar program would address both priorities as young adults find work installing solar panels, planting trees, digging irrigation ditches and boosting outdoor recreation.

The CCC was a temporary works program for destitute men to provide provide for their families.  This isn't that.

incidentally, the CCC and other New Deal works programs also got a generation of young men used to paramilitary command structure and regimentation just prior to a massive military action.  This may or may not be that.

Umm. Many places already have this. It actually pays for college, gives people.some money and a roof over their head.

But, the biggest thing is that does is that it floods rural conservative areas with super liberal 20-25 year old people. And when they don't get get paid enough are essentially abandoned in these areas.

After abandonment, they take jobs on actual forest service trail, fire, and wildlife crews and start to push even more crazy liberal polices like shutting down roads, restricting access, restricting firewood cutting, burning, and implementing fishing and hunting regulations that make it hard to do any activities.

If they don't get a cushy government job, they work for non-profits that push issues on public lands, and with help of their other friends in government positions, start to funnel money for hunting and fishing conservation, into programs that's are implicitly anti-hunting and fishing.

My county is still on fire restrictions on public lands, despite being one of the wettest summers we've had in years, where grads is still literally green and growing (never is this late in the year) all because the position is filled by someone who went though the exact scenario that I described.

Picking an all-or-nothing fight with the Church of the V8 would be second only to gun confiscation in likelihood to generate body count.

Some will also be ordered to secretly set fire to our forests.

Climate Change. In their brainwashed minds, setting fire to our forests will create more climate change, but if it forces the public to side with them out of fear that climate change is really happening with all of the spontaneous fires then mission accomplished.

AKA Self fulfilling prophecy.
