Glen Campbell - Gentle on My Mind (terrific guitar break)

There are some classics sitting in that room in awe.  Roy Clark is looking like "whatever".

RIP Rhinestone Cowboy.

Kids, skip to 1:30 for an education in picking.

Saw this on Carson reruns the other night. Story that starts around 12:30 was kind of funny. Whole show was pretty good Rickles and Dom Delouise come out later in the show.

Glen is PDG.

But Keaggy is my fav to realize just how much mastery of a guitar can come in someone's life.

Front row, 2012 final tour.  He got confused and told the same Minnie Pearl joke twice, but never missed a lick.

What a great memory.  Sitting there with both my parents.  Miss you Dad, love you Mom.

I’ve watched that 100 times before.  Glen was a badass.  Look how Crystal Gayle looks at him, she wants her some of that!

I like Glen, but I think they literally showed Chet in that clip lol...

I dunno who the best is, but as a longtime gitfiddler Glen wouldnt' grace my top 25. How long you been playing OP?

To quote myself - I also just saw Roy Clark in that grouping too... Glenn is not even the 2nd best picker on that stage.

I got a guitar, but I got no talent.  Wouldn't call myself a player, although my cat doesn't leave the room when I pick.

Ha, pets know whats up!

That JR/Glenn clip you posted above was great, one I hadn't seen before. Jerry is a massively-underrated gitfiddler. He's known as an singer/songwriter/entertainer, but he was very accomplished guitar player.
