Thanks for looking.
Our mechanical contracting business uses credit cards to pay for things like company fleet gas, job materials, and tool purchases.
We do about $20k per month in business on credit cards.
We currently use Capital One Spark with 1% cash back on all purchases.
Over the last 5 days they have locked down our cards twice for “suspected fraud”, once for an employee that tried to use his card at a gas station he has frequented literally 100x to fill his company truck in his hometown, the second when I attempted to make a $1500 purchance for job equipment online with a vendor we have purchased from at least 12x in the past. I spoke with a rep today and explained that their fraud protection is now adversely affecting our business and if it happens one more time I’m canceling the account and taking my business elsewhere, and I’m serious about voting with my wallet. They gave me the standard canned customer service response and said they couldn’t do anything about the flagging system.
So, what’s a good card to switch to? I’ve about had it with Capital One.
