I don't wear a full beard, but regularly am out and about with three days of growth on my face. The Orvis signature polos are exceptionally durable. I have some that are six to seven years old and still look great. No signs of wear on the collar. Easily last three times as long as Ralph Lauren and other 'designer' shirts of similar style.

Well $50 is more reasonable. Want to hear about the Amazon Brand POLO though too. Does it resist collar wear?

I started out with Wrangler moisture wicking polos. I had snags all over them from our work environment. Went to Dickies moisture wicking and the problem went away 100%. I've also used the Magpul brand I found on huge clearance but the screen printing does not hold up, material is fine.
