Pep's Drafthaus

Made by the same company that created Tombstone pizza before they sold out to Nestle. Available in the upper midwest it looks like.

Tombstone was the originator of Tombstone.

Created in their bar near the cemetery in Medford,WI
When they first started out there was no competition I don't think there was a pizza joint anywhere in our area so
it was a motorcycle ride away for us and it was a busy place with fights in the parking lot as the place drew kids from
all over the adjacent counties.

Later on they got some trucks with freezers bought up electric pizza ovens which they gave to any bars that carried their pizzas when grocery stores in our area started carrying freezer pizzas Tombstone was already a brand name for us.

Of course the bigger they got the quality seemed to suffer...was still pretty good until they sold out...

Making your own if you got a good crust and sauce recipe would be ideal...make them in the shape of your vacuum sealer
and freeze your own?

It is really, really good.   Don't over-bake it...that is easy to do.   Even my young kids like the crust.

Best frozen pizza is an oxymoron. You don't buy frozen pizza to have the best of anything. You buy it because it is cheap and convenient.

Red Baron is the best of the cheapest.

Any of you saying Totinos Party Pizza, try baking them on a preheated square cast iron skillet. Let the skillet heat in the oven at 425 for at least 10-15 minutes before putting it on there. Add extra meat, cheese and pizza spice. They end up far crisper than straight on the rack. It actually makes them quite tasty.

for frozen pizzas ill take a tombstone/totinos/redbaron before ill take a digornos or a grocer store pizza.  not sure why I just cannot ever like those.
id rather just wait on a dominos/papajohns than have a grocer store one.  hell ill take a LC pizzapizza before one of those

We always have Jacks or Red Baron in the freezer, but I love the bar style pizzas.
Heggie's
Brew Pub Lotzza Motzza
Pizza Corner
....all of which are available in MN.

We demolished three brew pubs and a case of lattes last night in my garage after shooting a 5 man limit of mallards.

I like these.  Used to be "Hyde Park" brand.  Used to go on sale for .50 each when I was young.  I always had about 20 of them in the freezer, so they made good party snacks.

They're only a buck now, not as good as they used to be though.  These things are tiny though.  I eat two of them for a meal.

For real frozen pizzas, Tombstone or Red Barron.  I liked the Walmart "World Table" pizzas they had for awhile, but they discontinued them.
