I've got an old showerhead I refuse to get rid of. Even a new one with the flow restrictor removed is still not as good as an old one. Every tiny nozzle is designed to work at lower flow and pressure. You increase the flow and it still shoots less water, it just does it too hard.
If you got real creative you'd drill out every tiny orifice. |

Best thing I ever did to my shower head was to remove the restriction. It was sad how little water got on you when you needed to get clean. Another product that government touched and ruined for the taxpayers.
