Andre Bing, 31, is the shooter from yesterday's Walmart rampage. Police released this photo on Wednesday. They have not confirmed whether he had a criminal record

The Walmart gunman who opened fire in the break room of the Chesapeake store where he worked last night had a list of the names of people he wished to target.

Andre Bing, 31, opened fire in the breakroom of the Walmart in Sam's Circuit, Chesapeake, at 10.12pm last night, where 14 employees had gathered for a pre-shift meeting.

There were 50 people inside the store at the time, likely finishing some last-minute Thanksgiving errands.

Bing opened fire in the breakroom at the back of the store. He shot ten people before killing himself.

When police searched his body, they found a list of names that contained the names of the colleagues he wished to target, according to local Virginia outlet WAVY, citing an anonymous source.

Two of the victims were found next to Bing in the breakroom when police arrived, and a third was found at the front of the store.

Three others were taken to the hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.

Four people are still in the hospital with unspecified injuries.

Now that is wild.  Sounds like no one really liked him.  He also had a list of names.

I believe there was a reference to others making fun of him too.

Talking to people who used to work at the store is not "Officially" confirmed. Sorry. The now deleted video I saw last night when I created this thread, had a employee in front of the store crying saying he was the "Night Shift Manager" NOT the store manager.  There is a big difference between the to positions. And even that should be considered hearsay.
Member of management period.

Now we are splitting hairs. He was a salaried member of management.  Therefore he had access to places within the store and also knew where to go in the store.

He went to the break room to shoot associates for fucks sake.

Chesapeake police say they first responded to an "active shooter" call at the store around 10:12 p.m. local time.

When officers arrived, they coordinated with a tactical team before entering the store, where they found multiple bodies, according to Chesapeake police spokesman Leo Kosinski.

Original report said officers waited 35-40 minutes before entering the store.  It was later Revised to leave wait time out.

Not that it would have done any good in this situation to go in when they arrived.  Only thing is they did not know shooter shot himself, and could have been worse.

How does this keep happening?

You would think somebody somewhere by now would have had the idea to find the common denominators with "mass shooters" then try to figure out why, in the interest of reducing it. It might just be that there is such a massive pool of people who fit the profile, that picking that needle out of the haystack is just not plausible. The gun doesn't walk into a school and start murdering toddlers, people do. But we have so many fucked up families and situations in this country it's beyond belief.

Yes, but as with Uvalde, IF (I'm not passing judgment until all the facts are in) it bears out that any individual officer or officers should have acted sooner than they did, and they failed to do so because they decided to put their own self-interests FIRST, then:

A. They have no business wearing any kind of law enforcement uniform, ever.

B. They are a disgrace to their profession and the oath they took.

and,

C. I hope that the fact that they are a worthless chickenshit coward haunts them, every time they look in the mirror, for the rest of their days on earth.

Now again, I am not saying that IS the case here, I am merely saying IF that is the case.

Accuracy in stuff matters. I have found out the hard way making assumptions or even reading between the lines and presenting them as facts can have harmful consequences. There is a significant difference in the two jobs, as well as experience. and character needed to be effective. This would be similar to saying a Principle slept with a student when it was a hall monitor.

Bullshit. They cover what fits the narrative and nothing else. For Christ's sake the last time Russia invaded Ukraine the media didn't even cover it because despite it bleeds it leads and it being a European country they were told it would make Obama look bad.
