I don’t know fuck about shit, but that seems really really bad if your department of cyber security gets hacked and taken down. |

In before the Ghost of Tel Aviv!
Are the made in China T-shirts available yet? |

It's just a big ass DDoS from one of the better known botnets thus far.
Meh. |

Is Iran deciding to get froggy?
Land war in Europe plus one in the Levant would be bad. |

So is someone about to attack them? Otherwise is it just a “ha ha, we fucked your websites up for a few hours” deal isnt it?

Brought on by a feckless Joe Biden and his illegitimate administration.
We’re living through what I believe is just the beginning of far worse times and events. Stolen elections have consequences. |

Wouldn't surprise me if we, the USA, get hit with a similar attack soon. All the bad actors in the world feel empowered to act up with the US being seen as the weakest in recent history.

I'm not saying that I support this, but it's funny that lots of mainstream conservatives complain about getting called racist for opposing BLM, yet happily throw out accusations of anti-Semitism, sympathy for jihadis, etc. when someone (often times to their political right) criticizes Israel. It's already happened in this thread.

Annd it's done. LMAO at some of y'all though |

I'd expect some harsh vengeance from Mossad. They seem decently skilled at taking out the trash in creative ways.

Including the National Cyber Security agency? YOU HAD ONE JOB.

Again, no comment. @WeimaranerDad I would like to hear your thoughts, the "no comment" thing is weird with lack of context unless you have some super high clearance and can't talk about certain things. You sounds like our .gov admitting...I mean denying, bioweapons labs |

Retired career gov IT network guy here. I thank God often that I'm no longer involved in network security. It's a friggin jungle out there, and the consequences of cyber attacks, ransomeware, etc are just getting more serious every day. I remember an IT world [decades ago] where we were quite a bit more relaxed. Not that security wasn't an important consideration, but there are so many more wolves waiting in the shadows just outside the "cave entrance" than there used to be. Of course, with everything living in the digital realm these days, there is far more important data to be gained by hacking a system, than there used to be.
Don't get me wrong, on the personal level I have to be more dilligent then ever, and not let my guard down. But I feel almost weightless in not having to live under the damn stress of trying to protect terabytes/petabytes of important, critical data relating to public safety, public utilities, financial, etc systems. Did it for 30 years. Couldn't pay me enough to do that shit again. I was never passionate about it to the point of being an IT nerd/network nazi... it was just a job to me. Sending positive thoughts and wishes towards Israel right now, and hoping the U.S. isn't next. |

The whole cyber war is basically constant and has been for a long time. I realize that, I mean a really big and damaging attack. Hell, my little website was probed over 300 times last year by jack asses from overseas. I didn't know anything about it until one of my customers requested a security audit. Fortunately there is no connection between my website and what actually goes on in the business. |
