This is unwelcome news. Unwelcome, indeed.
Kidding, no one cares. |

Olive Garden is the epitome of the downfall of American culture
|
|
Olive Garden pissed me off in 1990 - so does not really matter to me much anymore. I have probably eaten there three times in 30 years. Their Italian sucks, their policies suck, they are a waste of real estate.
2 things pissed me off - one was a crap hostess. I asked 3 times over an 90 minutes if they had called my party. I was told if they had I would have known it. Then they bothered to look and said they called my name an hour ago. Then they charged me as much as an entree for sauce for the bread sticks - never mention that sauce was not included. |

As much disdain as I rain upon Olive Garden, I am saddened to hear of your predicament.
I used to be able to eat at Red Robin for 13 bucks with tip and now it's like 19. |

Not a big fan of Italian Applebee's, but everything is expensive at restaurants now it seems. The ribeye I used to get at a local steak place went from $24 to $34.

If I enjoyed Olive Garden food I would tell no one, and hide that shame deep down inside.

It was my first year working in my profession. I have been retired going on 10 years now. Yes, I don't forgive when it is pointless.

Quoted: People still eat at Olive Garden? View Quote Yeah, no it's not the best Italian restaurant. I've had way better Italian food at independently owned restaurants. But with that said, those places usually cost a lot more money too. I've never had the greatest meal at olive garden, but I've never had a bad one either. It's decent and we enjoy going there from time to time for a casual nothing fancy meal... |

When I saw the thread title I was going to tag whiskers... not much gets by you, I see.

OK, one more time;
This is GD. We HATE literally every chain restaurant in existence. The ONLY food that we think is not trash is from the little mom-n-pop that exists ONLY in our town and no one else has ever heard of. Got it?? Sheesh... We shouldn't have to review this rule all the time, but here we are. |

Did you know that the Olive Garden does not serve olives? I did not know this until the one time that i went to one and asked for the olive menu. I have never been back since. To me it was like going to Fultano's Pizza and being told they do not serve pizza.
Guess I just assumed I would be able to order an olive charcuterie board |

Olive Garden is trash food.
Bagged salad, premade dressing, canned soup, microwave and steamed premade dishes, overpriced wine, Subway bread. Darden brand restaurants need to go away. All disgusting. |
