It was a very justifiable shoot. Dude had a hostage, with a gun, pointing the gun at others, making threats, and and not following the orders of police officers. Do you seriously think because I ask questions about one (or ten) other police action, that it means I have a particular bias against the police? Hardly. In the previous thread, if I was the (a) responding officer, I would have most likely asserted command of that scene at gun point and everyone that comes out of that house gets handcuffed. Once the smoke cleared, I would be asking my chain of command and myself the same freaking questions I asked here (in that thread). |
