For the OG members that have been around here 15-20 years, what are some things you remember from your early days that newer members wouldn’t recognize or understand.
A few things I remember are Permasilk G, KKF pinned and welded faux A2 FH and fixed M4 style stocks. I also remember Imbroglio being the most infamous troll at the time and all night rifle building parties on September 12, 2004. |

The list. Quality threads in GD that had real discussions in them. |

This was when I lurked, but who remembers napoleon tannerite throwing his new AR down his driveway to give it that authentic look?
Good times. |

I swear we need a tacked thread of Arfisms, Legends, and stories.
Every time one of these threads comes around, I set back and laugh at the hilarity that ensued. I lurked for years, and after joining I still didn’t really know about GD. But I still seem to recall most of the epic ones! |

I used to laugh my ass off in this place, it's just not as fun anymore.
We've lost that lovin feeling. Hoping that changes soon though. This place is my home till the end, I'm riding this bitch. |

View Quote I still laugh at one I barely remember- someone posted a thread about,IIRC, how you eat oysters, and after a bunch of replies (I like to swallow, etc), changed the thread title to something about sucking dick. |

Imbroglio was cool. Lol He was a good contributor in the Survival Discussion forum.
Things I remember: Unintended Consequences and Lights Out coming out on the site a chapter at a time. |

The daily Nite Crew threads where drunk posting was mandatory.
The threads were deliberately ended every day , so they could vanish to protect the the guilty. (us). Speaking of which, the original Range Report thread where someone really did stick it in her pooper and post pics of #2 entry, then everyone worked together to delete the offensive material and re-quotes, so the OP DIDN'T get banned!! |

Guns and Ammo TV Jams up an M1A All you guys on A R FIFTEEN DOT COM are laughing at me now! |

I remember when we could have discussions of a general nature without being thrown into a subforum.
I remember AK brakes, Dissipators, pinned collapsible stocks, ABC and the tier system. I remember when chrome lining was everything. I remember the epic photoshop threads. |

Every post was someone posting that gyrating Spanish singer.

Quoted: My original account getting banned View Quote Was it Deathmetalmedic or something like that? The one I remember most clearly, was, SteyrAug getting the boot. (Allegedly he was banned, then allowed back, then supposedly quit) Law of primacy. He was the first legitimate Arf royalty dethroned. |
