You just pull it out.
They have a place in the stock to install a recoil reducer. |

Well Heck!
Talk about over thinking it! Just pinched the sides, worked it back & forth a bit and pulled it up and PRESTO! - it DID come out - nothing mechanical holding it in. Great spot to drop a waterproof bag with laminated copies of my Drivers License & Hunter Safety Card hunter documents. Man, that was super simple! BIGGER_HAMMER  @yeaboxes |

As you learned you just pull it off. It’s a simple method of attachment but a pain if you decide to shorten the stock and use another pad. I like Benellis but the LOP is way too long for me.

Squeeze the sides and pull out. It has a lip that holds it in.
