It probably uses a peltier plate for cooling, not a closed loop system that can dramatically lower temperature like a freezer or fridge. It isn’t a freezer, and will probably never be due to the duty cycle limitations of the plate.

Well, I can tell you how to do it with a small chest freezer and an Inkbird controller. That's how we use them for lager fermentation chambers.
But it's not going to work with a wine cooler. The inkbird is always going to be running warmer than the freezers internal thermostat. No so on a wine cooler.
