CZ-USA Closed All Facilities Shutdown Due To COVID-19 Emergency Order
To our loyal customers, dealers, distributors and partners, Due to the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, many jurisdictions throughout the United States and the world are experiencing government restrictions limiting activity to varying degrees. CZ-USA operations are subject to an Emergency Order from our local government which forces us to close our facilities in Kansas City, Kansas until at least April 23rd. Likewise, our Dan Wesson Firearms facility in Norwich, NY was closed under similar circumstances late last week due to an order from the state of New York. For the next 30 days, production and shipment delays are inevitable. We apologize for the inconvenience we know this will cause we hold our nation's Second Amendment rights to be sacred and are very concerned about the impact that emergency orders will have on our customers. We will work diligently to deliver products as soon as legally possible, while maintaining social responsibility and compliance with government orders. To all of the CZ family, we hope that you stay healthy, safe and secure in coming weeks. Make wise decisions we'll see you on the other side. |

Hipoint closed as well even though they are deemed essential in Ohio. They cited concern for their employees.

I am not sure hipster is a correct term, my direct experience with most hipsters I met in Oregon were
1. Guns are icky 2. If they were of a gun owning mindset they would only own one if it were given to them by someone else, or it was something very cheap. Hipsters are by definition are the original free or very cheap crowd (aka freeloaders). Factually there was more than one restaurant that I went to that had signs stating "Don't be a hipster , be a tipster." 3. Assuming they do own a gun it's gonna have to accessorize their man buns and designer flannel shirt |

If only there was a website where you could buy a particular gun even if the factory is closed for a couple of weeks

CZs are often referred to as hipster guns by people who have just enough imagination to own Glocks. There’s a lot of truth in the CZ hipster stereotype. CZ and clones have been enormously popular in IPSC and USPSA since the 80s. They have won more matches than anything with the exception of 2011 clones. HK fanbois are generally virgin basement dwellers and teenagers who talk more about guns than they actually shoot them. That's not even stereotype, that's facts. |

Yep. Fortunately, I just now received a message saying that the package was signed for at CZ today. I was mainly worried it would be floating around in Fedex land and get lost or something. Looks like I'll be using my trusty Winchester SXP for the foreseeable future though...

I bought a couple years ago, when they were $179 each (and C&R) - so I think it makes me an evil capitalist pig-dog, profiteering off the hard work and sweat of glorious communist workers. |
