I had a hell of a time trying to find fittings for an aftermarket fuel pump until my buddy explained that I needed NPT threaded ones.

Good grief!
What about tapered threads? How about Compression Fittings or better yet Flare Fittings. Where do you use PTFE thread compound or should you use teflon tape? Plumbing be hard and stuff.

I have a lot of cheat sheets in my office. Plus my company has a few non standard taper threads.
