When I use the Amazon button to embed an Amazon listing, I'm left with the visible [ amzn ] forum tag (minus the spaces). The embed will show up in the post preview, but when I do post a reply, it shows up as the forum tag being visible.
I've experienced this multiple times posting from my Chromebook (Chrome) browser, as well as from my phone on using the Chrome browser. The only thing I could think of was if a particular amazon listing didn't allow for these sort of remote embeds, but I'd like to think the forum software would at least recognize the embed. |

It doesnt look to be a browser issue. It could be some of the products are missing critical information or somehow failing at the API.
I'll look into it. |

I have had the same issue the last half dozen times I tried linking to Amazon.

Looks like an issue with our API account. I put in a request to get it resolved, but no ETA I can provide on when they will respond.

I am going to create a backup solution to just load in the link without the product info on a failure, so it's not just the ASIN in a tag sitting there dead. Hopefully have it on live soon.
