I have been eyeballing a Sangin for a while. I like them all but the Overlord and the Hydra. Where can I get a similar watch with drilled lugs that keep their products in stock.

What's your budget? Will help narrow things down greatly.

Also, preferred diameter, assuming automatic, color preference... Give us something to work with other than I like Sangin other than...

42mm or larger
I really like that they all have drilled lugs.
I really like the generic utilitarian look.
My daily is an SKX009 on a Jubilee from Strapcode.
Love my Steinhart Ocean 44 in black and my Double green ceramic.
Cost: Less than $800

Lum-tec.com makes a nice watch. Around 500 for most models nice 10 or 20 % discount for Mil/ first responders

If you want the sangin I would just get on the email list and wait it out.

Every time I buy some sort of substitute item I normally end up buying the original thing I wanted anyway.

Id chose a marathon steel navigator or a seiko SRPE93 any day as a substitute. In fact I prefer my SRPE93 way more than my Sangin Atlas, and it’s 1/2 the price…

X2. Check out Resco as well. I think highly of the owners.

Hard to beat Sangin if that's really what you want

I like several of their watches and almost pulled the trigger on a Neptune a couple years ago.

I’ve heard mixed reports about them online from a fit/finish standpoint. I’ve seen it suggested that buying a Seiko you’ll get a better watch from a fit/finish standpoint, and probably at a better price… though I do think sangin has some cool pieces and i understand the appeal of the brand
