My daughter is at an impasse with joining the Air Guard.  Everything appeared to be going well.  All paperwork was completed and she submitted her complete medial information.  They came back and requested clarification on two things her primary care had entered some incorrect information on.  Resolved that and re submitted.  They requested her complete information again, but she has already submitted everything.  Primary care sent a letter stating everything was sent and complete.  She spoke to the recruiter today after two weeks back and forth to find out if things were moving forward and was told she needed to submit records for 2012-2018, which were submitted already.

She is at a loss.  Everything medical wise has been provided.  The recruiter had nothing to offer in the way of information or advice.

Any input or advice for my daughter would be appreciated.

Find a new recruiter?

What state?

She is coming home from college for a week and I suggested speaking to a recruiter while she is home.

Missouri.  She would prefer Air Guard, but is considering Army Guard as the Army recruiter on campus has been more helpful than the Air Guard recruiter she has been trying to work with.

That's probably not the best crietrion for choosing your branch of service.

Air Guard can also be more picky on their applicants. Why deal with a problem when there are plenty in line.
What issues does she have?  Legal, asvab, medical, etc?

Medical would have to be it, she had childhood migraines.  Had low dose amitriptyline prescription for a time to control them, but has been off it for awhile.  She provided all of her medical records.  Two weeks later she was asked for them again.  Contacted primary care to clear up a couple things and re sent.  Two more weeks past and there is a request for 2012-present, which was included the previous two times.  She is at a loss as she has provided her entire medical history again and received the same request this week.

She understands they can be selective.  If it is a matter they don't want her she simply would like a straight answer so she can explore other options.

I agree.  She wants to serve and if the Air Guard doesn't want her she is set on pursing other options so the recruiter being more accommodating is only part of it.  The only branch that she will not consider is Navy.
