Sultan's Ascend DLC out in a few days, 2 new civs, Japanese and Byzantines, and then the extensions of the existing civs.
What I'm asking is if there are enough players from this forum that would want a dedicated RTS Discord channel, now that we have one dedicated to Diablo (Sanctuary) I had taken a long break from the game (Aoe4), probably 6 months but I'm back at it trying to play a few online games a day. I also play II and Rise of Rome II expansion (since AoE1DE is officially dead online). So respond in here if there's interest in a dedicated discord group, always more fun to play a game over discord voice channels.

I play single player occasionally but i am not very good. I can barely beat "medium" ai and I usually have to ration my resources then beat them in the endgame. I haven't tried multi-player because I know I'd have no chance
I have yet to find a counter for war elephants, it doesn't seem to matter what civ or mix of units I have. If a few enemy elephants show up they will wipe any army I have built up. |

AOE player here. I have all versions except the latest DLC. Always up for a good game. Usually on Discord hanging out when playing. Been playing AOE since it came out way back in the day. Also play Command and Conquer/Red Alert from time to time.

I play AOE2 multiplayer. Sitting around 1k elo. My potato of a computer hasn't been running it very well lately though.
