Yeah, it didn't pass my smell test either...so I did some looking.
ATF publishes figures for guns manufactured during a given year, but they are always behind. The latest one I could find was for 2017.
In 2017, Aero manufactured 79,935 guns. At $25 per gun, that's $1,998,375 (but I'm sure last year they made a lot more than this). This would on top of whatever taxes they used to collect from Aero, of course. Two million in taxes on top of whatever other taxes they used to get, on top of how many MORE guns they made in the last two years, pretty soon that's serious money.
