Tarantula hawk wasps are relatively docile and rarely sting without provocation. However, the sting—particularly that of P. grossa—is among the most painful of all insects, though the intense pain only lasts about five minutes.[10] One researcher described the pain as "...immediate, excruciating, unrelenting pain that simply shuts down one's ability to do anything, except scream. Mental discipline simply does not work in these situations."[7] In terms of scale, the wasp's sting is rated near the top of the Schmidt sting pain index, second only to that of the bullet ant, and is described by Schmidt as "blinding, fierce[, and] shockingly electric".[2]

Pretty decent.

Great name.

Cool artwork, too. Might have to see if I can get a print of it, or just frame the box or something lol.

Sorry no knife, but quick pic of dog before I head to work. Picked him up last night. Almost done meds. Think it must have been some kind of eye infection.  Doesn't seem to bother him and does seem to have at least decent sight in good eye. He's a trooper for sure. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Just picked this up from a co-worker. I was showing off a knife and he runs out to his car to grab one he found on the sidewalk. He shows me and asks if it’s a “good one”. I about shit myself. I told him what it was, and showed him the price on the website. Then I told him I can’t afford to buy it for $400, but if he had a price in mind let me know. Without skipping a beat, he says “I was hoping I’d get $50 for it.” After asking a bunch more times if he was cool with that I gave him the $50 for it. He seemed happy with the arrangement, and I definitely am. I’m broke, so this is the only way I would have ever possibly owned one of these.Attachment Attached File

Between the bar and Pizza Hut as a kid, I kinda needed them.

I would have said the same. It is more developed, more complex flavor notes.

But head to head...

That ODG is smooth and decent tasting, good even. And at 1/3 the price, it wins hugely on the value proposition.
