but why?
why is it worth 12-13 more than a CD version and 14k more than a production version? I don't see the value. Edit: oh, I see now. it has DRRBS and comes with a COA coin. Totally worth it. FFS, the money grab is getting ridiculous. Microsoft and Apple are vying for most valuable company status at $3T each, Shiro can't be far behind at these prices. |

Preowned with some scuffs too. At least the owner actually carried it

What's the better knife overall, large Sebenza 31 Magnacut or a Spartan Harsey in Magnacut? Not sure if the Harsey might be too decorative for me or not.

View Quote depends on what you mean by better. the CRk 31 is a great knife. I have no interest in prior Sebbies, but they got it right with this one (coughcoughinkosidesigncuescoughcough) I have more than one Harsey so I was going to let one go, and just in handling for sale consideration, I was reminded how much I like it. It is a good design and I like the graphic. If you want to check it out we can talk. |

View Quote CRK The only thing Spartan does better than CRK is the laser engraving. They do several other things as good or almost as good, but I prefer CRK's overall. I like the blade profile better, the knife is lighter, and it feels better in the hand. |

If I was going to rant it would be that Harsey is a bit full of himself. He has a good design, but it is the laser work by Spartan that sells his knife in the numbers they do, not necessarily his work. Seems like a lot of designers get a bit full of themselves. And none of them are as prolific as Emerson.
Edit: But yes, if you think about it, it is a ti framed knife using the RIL with a stainless blade. CRK was first to do it, everyone since is just a variation of his design. |
