I think your idea works! Built a small lanyard on the knife and now the regular ones can get switched out when I want.
Even salvaged the other one and mounted it on the knotters tool! The crazy color goes well with the Sigma! Thanks again for the great idea!!

Nice!

The tree pic in your previous post I seriously thought was a cartoon illustration for a second until I scrolled down. Pretty cool shot!

Going to be a bit of an experiment with the laser cutting. I also have some more tweaks I want to make to the design.

Oh and I have a prof who wants a knife but we aren’t going to talk specifics or price until after final grades are in.

I may have to check it out. Our Victorinox knives are her favorites. No frills just cutting until they get dumped on my workbench to touch up.

Limes looking dried out. I had some limes recently like that. They look fine on the outside, squish well but when sliced open they’re devoid of the juice.

WIC taught me to use the chips that come off the S30V as little splitting wedges. The wood just flies apart when I hit the wedges with the hatchet!

After observing WIC's general advise to get a value chromebook from Costco, I went

I spend a lot of time browsing & using it for entertainment, so a great display is everything. I also want to get back into home recording / mixing. Six years is a minimum expectation, and I'd be keeping my Lenovo of about that age if the case wasn't falling apart completely (POS all in one which is just a bad idea all around). AMOLED 15" touchscreen (no stupid 360 tablet mode though), 512 GB SSD, 16GB RAM, up to date Core i7, Windows 11 home (I get free licensing for MS office and the full Adobe suite, with photoshop, audio studio, video processor, illustrator, at home through work). Not made in China. It was a good BF sale plus 10% gov.t employee discount that put me over the edge. Charging now while I have some boozy coffee.
