The clip doesn’t have a rear tang so no matter what the screw closest to the border of the grip won’t seat all the way on either the factory or Cuscadi grips. The Cuscadi grips are too thick for the pivot. You can see that it’s only grabbed on by a couple threads and even that’s so tight I now have to flick the knife open. The G10 machining depth is all over the place so parts of the grips are actually smooth. Going to put it back stock and probably sell the whole package as I hate the factor carbon fiber. ETA: Third problem. Neither the MXG or factory screws are long enough to secure the pocket clip. The MXG must have grabbed by one thread as the clip ripped off first time pocketing it. Both of these brands look good on Instagram but don’t give much thought into actually using them. https://i.ibb.co/3sNhyCn/6-DAD3083-8-B36-4215-AB45-CDC969609-CEB.jpg View Quote Wow. Cuscadi has been a player for a long time and MXG is usually quality, although I wonder of the clip issues are due to the scales at this pointm |

Maybe I’ll price that out first. View Quote Wow. Maybe give Cuscadi an email detailing the issue? |

Originally Posted By Star_Scream: Wow. ZT uses an inset mounting and the MXG clip isn’t capable of seating in it as the mounting flat is longer than the inset. I grabbed a Kizer clip I have sitting around and it “fits”. The hardware is longer so I can get the Kizer clip on but not the MXG or ZT. Probably going to leave it despite the logo. I sent Cuscadi an email as the pocket clip inset wasn’t machined to factory depth. I found some pretty bad horror stories on BF about their customer service and quality as of late. |

Thanks to Mr. WIC, I went to Emerson's FB page and joined up. Already met a couple of guys and I may be getting my Specwar-A soon. I'm going to have to look into an Emerson custom soon.

I don't know if it's the failure of getting into med school, the realization that you will be the target of jokes for the rest of your life or knowing that if the the zombie apocalypse does come and society needs to rebuild, NO ONE will choose a lawyer to share their limited resources needed to survive. I predict 1000s of attorneys wandering aimlessly throughout the countryside looking for a way to live while avoiding becoming zombie food. |
