I've used red and black. I can't think of any other colors that I've used with it.

Lmk if you want to see a color combo though, I have some natural canvas micarta and an assortment of liner materials.

I had put myself on the wait list. Got the email last week so I decided to try one.

I really don't think in the intended grip it would be too easy to cut yourself.

The stock clip is a horrible hot spot though. Definitely needs something different. The Southern Grind shorty clip might be just the ticket.

I wish it was just a smidge bigger.
The pocket clip is a huge hot-spot.
Needs something smaller.

Typical Emerson other than that. Scary sharp, lock stick, sandpaper G10. You know the drill.

It's made to hold in the reverse grip and rip and tear.
Looks like it would work very well for its intended purpose.

100% a self defense blade.
Can't see it  being useful for much else, the ergos are all wrong for any other use.

I'm surprised to see you say that.  I ended up with both the Ti and Micarta, while I wait for an Atom to fall in my lap.  Remember how I said I would probably end up just ordering a bunch of stuff?  Well I ended up with both versions.
Got the Ti first.  I liked it a lot, but it was a bit hard to fire.  Any pressure on the frame lock, even when you think you have your fingers on the clip, causes problems.  But man, when it fires it sho is nice.
Then the v2 went on sale for black friday, so naturally I had to get it...  It fires easier, for sure, but it's kinda meh.  Seems like it hangs up a bit on the Micarta.  Not smooth and slick like the Ti.  Meh.  Maybe both need to break in more though.  I at first wanted to loosen up the Ti so it would fire easier, but figured I would let it be for a while and see if it got easier.  And the Micarta may just need to wear in a bit too, to smooth it out.  But I absolutely love them, the profile in the pocket is perfect, still have a large enough blade, but so slim.  Love them.  I also don't like the wire clip on the Micarta, much prefer the nicer Ti clip.
Still need to do pics, but...  ya know how it is.  Actually, you clearly don't.  Hah!

You caught me. I don't have any od G10 liner. Here's a piece of 1/4" od G10 between canvas and linen micarta.

Also pictured is some Mexican blanket g-carta and the little brother to the prep knife I posted yesterday.

I really liked the ti version as well, but I have been on a micarta kick, the micarta version uses Elmax (elmax all the things), I prefer a liner lock, I actually really like the wire clip, and so do my car doors. Once I got the micarta version, I knew the ti version wouldn't see much pocket time, so I let the ti fly.

Reate does nice work. If you are having issues with either version in the action, my guess would be an ID10t error? shouldn't be hanging up on the micarta anywhere. If you really don't like the wire clip, looking at it, looks like it is similar/same as a spydie wire clip. RGT sells ti replacement clips to fit in a spydie wire clip space. Might work here too.

Yes, you need to do pics. no excuses.

Glad you are finding some stuff you like.

Also, told you I would hook you up on an Atom, you didn’t bite. I have no use for it until I can find starry night scales and those aren’t coming anytime soon.

Another to early up morning! Oh well, more time to surf the web.
Taking the doctor with me today. Working again this morning then spend some time trying to hunt up more beads for the 50 project. Can't get any till late February/early March and I need them ASAP.

Oh shiii I forgot it is elmax It aint printed on it.  weird.
I also think I like the liner lock better.
I feel like the wire clip bends when I grab to open the knife.  I like the solid feel of the Ti.
I don't think my gripes are worth sending them back, I just hope they loosen up a bit.  The Ti is slick and you get a really nice click when it locks.  the Micarta is just a little mushier.  Now that I look, the blade is centered, and not rubbing the micarta at all, so i'm not sure what the mushy is.  Maybe the inside of the liner lock?

I had made up my mind to forget the Atom until after Christmas, after I missed the late Nov drop.  I may reach out to you... if nothing else to get it off my plate
