Looks like the 2021 Ford Raptor Configurator went live today. Played around a bit with it, now I need to find $84k to buy one.
V8 is not an option yet. 2021 Ford Raptor |

90k...Lord have mercy.
Truck prices are climbing faster than my salary. I'll never get a Raptor now! |

This is great, I have my 2022 F350 on order and I was hoping the new raptor wouldn't come out with a ton of changes that would bomb my trucks value.

I say there's no way I'd spend $85k on a truck but then I was stupid enough to just spend $60k on a Jeep.......

Quoted: Quoted: This is great, I have my 2022 F350 on order and I was hoping the new raptor wouldn't come out with a ton of changes that would bomb my trucks value. It might affect the trade in value of my current raptor (correction - it will, just a question of how much). If they came out with a beefed up engine putting down 500+ hp stock it would probably drop my truck's resale value a bit more. As it stand, it seems raptors on autotrader are advertised used for higher prices than I bought new. |

Lol, they charge a shit ton for the stupid graphics.
I'm glad you can opt out they look better without |

Crazy pants pricing but someone's lined up to pay for it.
Thought the V8 was supposed to come back in the 21 model? Guess not. Ecoboost may be better, but it doesn't sound like a V8. |

I have both a '14 and '19 Raptor. I'm trading my '14 for a new one....only with the V8 option. My V6 sounds like a lawn mower.

v8 is coming back in the Raptor R, coming soon maybe in production next year

Will take my 10 year old, paid for Tacoma and go be poor somewhere else.

I sold my raptor for more then I paid a couple months ago after driving it for a year. Buying a company and needed a work truck, didn’t want to show up begging for business in my raptor, so I went with an stx.
I’ll buy another raptor in a year or so when I get the business cranking and I’ll write off a new raptor. $75k set up how I want it, not that bad of a price for how they ride and how fun they are to drive. People who trash talk raptors have never owned one. |

Quoted: Quoted: Hopefully they still pipe fake engine noises into the cabin via the speakers. I thought only BMW did that? Every manufacturer does this to some extent if it's a "performance" or "sporty" model. Has to with global light vehicle regulations (EU/Asia).... |

2020 was 76 for an 802a with Recaro, tech, and CF package. 2021 bumps up 8k?
That's assuming no dealer markup. Nuts. I guess my trade just went down in value. Offered 66k for my 2018 with 60k. Probably 62 now. It's not significantly larger but almost 100# more than the 3.5 HO if I remember right. |

So long as it has the V6 with cam phaser issues Ill pass. My 19 rattles like crazy on startup
|

And people were whining about 95k for a TRX.
This is the world we live in. I just got a very nice deal on a Power Wagon. About the only thing i don't get is the 33" tires. Will be my first upgrade after the trip I'm taking in it. |

Ford are dumbasses. I was ready to buy a Raptor 5 years ago but between the limited allocations (which they lied about and said wouldn't exist), the $5-10k markup over MSRP from the dealers that had them, and the lack of a v8, I said screw it.

I couldn't tell any difference between the way the 21's look/spec'd vs. my 2018 Raptor.
Hard pass for me DAWG! -ZA |

Unless you live in a desert, it really doesn't do anything better than a regular F150, and does quite a few things worse. They are neat though. Just turn off the phony exhaust sound using Forscan.
