Was traveling last week and just not feeling it, but I still logged some at the beach in FLL.
Home this week and forced myself to get out for a bit. 3.54 / 420.97 |

After being behind on my mileage goal for the past couple months (low weeks due to tapering for races and life generally getting in the way) I should be back on track for my yearly mileage goal by the end of the week. |

Times are coming down. I expect to hit a plateau soon at a steady 5:00min km pace. The temps will skyrocket soon which slow everyone. |

Quoted: 4.1/495.1 also 6K of rowing and an 11 mile round trip bike commute View Quote I'm gonna have to tighten up. Expect 5 out of me tomorrow. Speaking of tight, my left calf has been so dang tight the past few days I can't stand it. I did a run Monday morning, then a lot of box jumps at lunch. Yesterday morning it was pretty bad but I stretched and got a 5 miler in. Today I could barely muster 1 mile. I'm so tight it hurts in my ankle and down into my foot. Getting old is hell |

It'll hurt like hell to start, but will likely help in the long run. |

You're right, hurts like hell. I haven't done much today but lay around a hotel room and stretch. I'll likely hit the elliptical tomorrow then see what the treadmill feels like this weekend. |

my GPS had tons of dropouts today. It was my fastest lunch run by time but it lost about .5km and had lots of times throughout that the speed indication dropped to zero. Odd. Attached File |

I had to go back and square some math away. Glad that I was able to break 300 today- I figured it was still a couple days away. |

We had a covid outbreak here at work and I'm a close contact to one of the positive cases. Can't hit the gym, so I did a mile worth of stairs out on deck. This is really gonna put a damper on my mileage.

My wife and I decided to take a long weekend and go to Colorado in August. A group of us are planning a trip to hike some 14ers next summer, and I wanted to scout out some trailheads, camp spots, etc. Turns out our trip coincides with the Leadville 10k. Looks like I'll be running at least the first 3.1 miles of the famous Leadville 100 course. We plan to hike part of the remainder of the course while we're there. I'm kinda excited about this one, even if it's just a 10k.

I've been up Pikes Peak and the Rockies by car, but would love to hike them as well. I'm sure you're already a member on 14ers.com? It's a great site for hiking info on them. |

We're looking at doing Elbert and Massive right outside of Leadville. Elbert is the highest peak in CO, but also a fairly tame climb from what I hear. |

Cool on Mt. Elbert. Here's a cool youtube video on it:
20th 14er dayhike of the year - Mt Elbert, tallest in Colorado What to pack on a 14er hike Gearlist I've just been hiking the mountains in AZ the past couple winters. The tallest so far has been Mt. Lemmon in Tuscon (right by my son's house) at 9,159 feet. I do want to get to Colorado again though! |
