Damn....I wasn't tight with Hobbs...but...this is hittin me pretty hard.....2 weeks ago I chased down a POS acroos 3 lanes on a highway and tackled him in the median.....had a knife he was going for but he wasn't able to get it out.......guy ended up having heroin, needles, and a felony warrant too.....fuck what if he had a gun.....I would have still done the same but it just reminds me.....that it could happen to any of us....it is close to home....just makes me think.....my prayers go out to Detective Hobbs.....I hope he has found peace.....my prayers also go out to his family...and all of my brothers and sisters are also in my prayers....keep fighting the good fight. Rest In Peace Brother.

It's one thing to not value your life enough to kill yourself but killing someone just because you don't want to go back to prison for a year is beyond belief.
I hope the officer's family and friends find the strength to come to terms with such a senseless loss.
