ETA: Since his name has been released now, John Hobbs (ARFCom Member HOBBS5624) was killed last night in the line of duty. His partner is in stable condition and I cannot imagine what pain he feels right now with his loss. John was married and has three children. I request that you keep both Officer's families in your thoughts and in your prayers. John and I were both 1911 guys and he loved his .45Auto.  Godspeed brother. Prayers are with the families of John, and his partner.
