Let me begin with a 1958 Colt custom from many years ago with lots of of old school touches from back in the day when every modification was done with a purpose. She is finished in Nickel and is wearing pre 1976 Elephant ivory with nickel medallions. Lets see what you got.

I've had this one quite a while. I made the sights. Ed Brown high sweep beavertail is most comfortable I've ever shot. Has a Hart mercury filled guide rod. Somewhere north of 50k rds.

I find it to be an excellent cartridge but I also recommend most people avoid it. It gets to be quite habit forming and reloading for it is pretty much required at this point if you shoot. Something about 9+1 flush fitting and 357 speeds is a nice feeling. |

I'm not sure I can get the guide rod. It's funny, I just looked and there's a thread on Enos' site about how they are BS snake oil. It's funny because everyone who has shot that pistol comments on how soft shooting it feels....without me mentioning the mercury rod. |
