Breaking it down, Barney style. Silly cunt wraps get head in a rag, wants people to be offended. Someone smartly points out that religious garb is not regulation, which is why Ensign Ro could not wear her ear ring. In actual Starfleet you don't see religion. You don't know that Keiko O' Brian is Jewish, or Lt Broccoli is Methodist. You see other planets and their beliefs but Starfleet is pretty closed mouth on their own beliefs. |

I'll put up with some bullshit because they are just trained monkeys to entertain me. But no fucking way am I paying for religious bullshit.
I MIGHT watch for free, if it's Seth McFarland style with a navigator wearing a muslim cloth, an engineer wearing a star of David, the cook wearing a turban and the science officer wearing a huge cross. |

It's a shitty cosplay. Woo, she put on Geordi's 'sunglasses' and a gold uniform with a hijab.
She should've made her own character instead of genderbending one and adding a hijab. It's obvious what she wanted was notoriety versus actual cosplay. So, fuck her. |

You know, putting a muslim in charge of one of the most explosive devices in all the Star Trek universe doesn't seem like the best idea.
"So, has anybody figured out why the Enterprise blew up?" "Not yet. All they know is there was a transmission that said 'allahu akbar' a few times right before it happened." |

Seeing shit like THIS become such a huge controversy is just more proof that our forefathers worked way too hard, created way too much wealth, and made life way too easy for us. I dread the eventual crash because you just KNOW that one's coming and people will be starving in ditches.

Meh, her cosplay, her rules.
But it's still retarded, as is Black Wesley's remarks. |

By the time Star Trek is a reality, humanity will be completely civilized.
That means that islam will be only a fading memory in archived textbooks on isolinear optical memory chips. A hijab at that point in time would in fact be nothing but a historical costume, and an obscure one at that. |

Yeah, Muslims weren't really on the radar, aside from a few black dudes who changed their names to things like "Mohammed Ali" and "Kareem Abdul-Jabar". The shit really hadn't hit the fan yet... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
