2018- day to day. Jammed thumb stealing a base. Notice he doesn't steal bases as much since his extension 2019- was injured from catching a flyball. Notice how shallow he plays CF now. He's practically an infielder. 2020- Rona 2021- ??? But I'm sure it'll be some dumb shit. Literal inner circle Hall of Famer already and I still have yet to see him play in person going on 4 years. Story time:
I was lucky enough to meet Hank Aaron when I worked for the Brewers back in college(early 2000s). Before games, I would often arrive a bit early to go and sit behind home plate, watching the grounds crew get the field ready. It was a fun thing I'd do as it was a bit surreal and very peaceful to be the only person sitting in a 42,000+ seat stadium. One day, someone came and sat a row behind me and chatted with me a bit. We talked about baseball(how he loved playing in Milwaukee and how peaceful it was before games, etc). We probably talked for 5 or 6 minutes before I turned around and saw it was Hank. As I went to leave, I shook his hand and he thanked me for the conversation. Turns out he was here for a benefit Bud did every year and Hank always attended. I'd met a ton of former players over the years, but that conversation with Hank is by far my favorite moment. He came off as a genuinely nice guy and a great human being.
