Nice Choice!

Mine would be SRV's instrumental OWNAGE of Jimi Hendrix's of "Little Wing", even Jimi would agree on that one!!!

+1     I heard it on cd before I saw it on dvd, and you'd never realize hes playing a good chunk of it behind his back.  damn amazing.

How about this one?

I loved it when I was 14 or so, just so dirty to a 14 year old Mormon boy.

Slide It In
by Whitesnake

You talk too much,
Never saying what's on your mind,
It's written on your face,
An' in the words you hide behind.
I know what you want,
I can see what you're looking for,
I know what you want from me,
An' I'm gonna give you more.

I'm gonna slide it in
Right to the top,
Slide it in,
I ain't never gonna stop.
Slide it in,
Right to the top,
I'm gonna slide it in, slide it in,
Slide it, in baby.

Sometimes you seem
Just like a stranger to me,
But, all the games you play
Make it so easy to see.
You're looking for love,
Tho' you try to deny,
The things you put me through
Tell me what I've got to do to you.

I'm gonna slide it in,
Right to the top,
Slide it in,
I ain't never gonna stop.
Slide it in,
Right to the top,
I'm gonna slide it in, slide it in.

(Solo)

You talk too much,
Always treating me so unkind,
I know what I've got to do,
To get me some peace of mind.

I'm gonna slide it in,
Right to the top,
Slide it in,
I ain't never gonna stop.
Slide it in,
Right to the top,
I'm gonna slide it in, slide it in,
Slide it in,
Right to the top.
Slide it in,
I ain't never gonna stop.
Slide it in,
Right to the top,
I'm gonna slide it in, slide it in, slide it,
Slide it in, slide it in,
Right to the top, baby

It has sentimental values. We had some good times.

I remember hearing SRV for the first time and thinking "Shit, this guy sounds just like Hendrix, but he's better!"

Off the top of my head: "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND. But that will change hourly or less. Man, way too much to choose from; artist/group, type of music---that's almost infinite. I'll be back!

I changedmy mind.
Under My Thumb.
Still Rolling Stones.
What a difference a few beers make.

Under my thumb
The girl who once had me down
Under my thumb
The girl who once pushed me around

It’s down to me
The difference in the clothes she wears
Down to me, the change has come,
She’s under my thumb

Ain’t it the truth babe?

Under my thumb
The squirmin’ dog who’s just had her day
Under my thumb
A girl who has just changed her ways

It’s down to me, yes it is
The way she does just what she’s told
Down to me, the change has come
She’s under my thumb
Ah, ah, say it’s alright

Under my thumb
A siamese cat of a girl
Under my thumb
She’s the sweetest, hmmm, pet in the world

It’s down to me
The way she talks when she’s spoken to
Down to me, the change has come,
She’s under my thumb
Ah, take it easy babe
Yeah

It’s down to me, oh yeah
The way she talks when she’s spoken to
Down to me, the change has come,
She’s under my thumb
Yeah, it feels alright

Under my thumb
Her eyes are just kept to herself
Under my thumb, well i
I can still look at someone else

It’s down to me, oh that’s what I said
The way she talks when she’s spoken to
Down to me, the change has come,
She’s under my thumb
Say, it’s alright.

Say it’s all...
Say it’s all...

Take it easy babe
Take it easy babe
Feels alright
Take it, take it easy babe

Amazing Grace.  There is something about this song that just seems to bring a feeling of peace to me when I hear it.

Now that I've had more time to think about it, my all time favorite is "The Creator Has a Master Plan" by PHAROAH SANDERS on his "KARMA" album 1969. It took up almost both sides of the vinyl. An excellent jazz sax player to this day. Worked with the great JOHN COLTRANE in the early '60s.

So I'll just say "Abacab" by Genesis because that's what's on my headphones right now.

There are some great songs on here but for me next to SRVs version of little wing it would have to be   Cemetary Gates by Pantera
