They will charge you a first time dr. consultation fee of like $50, but after that you can get refills.  IMHO if you need it all the time, then go see your family doctor.  But for special weekends or just wanting to spice up the bedroom, I see nothing wrong with popping one every once in a while.

I had a similar problem when I was the same age.  Crank one out by yourself to make sure the plumbing still works.   If it does no need to see a doctor.  For me it was a mental thing.  Basically I was like your average 20 year old and could use it as a kick stand, then one day I was feeling very stressed out and already gotten busy earlier in the day.  The combined events prevented me from getting very aroused.  Very ackward situation at the time.  After that every time I tried to have sex all I could think about was if I was going to be able to perform or not, and that caused me to shrink.  It was a vicious cycle.

I would forget what everyone is saying about you girlfriend not being right for you.  Most likely your fear of not being able to hold out gave you problem getting it up.  You will have to crawl before you can walk again, for me it took about 2 months.  Using birth control over condoms would help alot if you are not.

yeah it does, thats pretty much exactly what happened one bad situation and it psyched me out, I think she understands and has been very patient.  Its no problem getting her off in other ways we just both like it the normal way best.

Yeah, you have to fill out this online questionaire (spl?) that basically asks you about previous health problems and family history, then questions about any problems with your little man...  

IIRC I even had to write out a short paragraph.   The doctor will review it within 48 hours and if he's got any further questions will call you.  MAKE SURE TO GIVE A GOOD CONTACT NUMBER!  I didn't get called, but supposedly if they have any questions and can't reach you, they cancel the order and keep a processing fee of like $50

Try this, it's going to sound strange but if you go to a doctor, he will tell you to try the same thing. Go to the post office and get a roll of stamps. Before you go to bed take and stick the stamps around your non-erect penis (leaving the little tabs that hold the stamp together intact). If you wake up in the morning and the tabs are broken, then you got an erection during the night and your problem is psychological. If not, it could be a physical problem and you should seek professional medical help.

At your age I would bet that you are expirecing psychological difficulties. If so, its something that you can try to sort out by yourself, of seek the help of a trained medical professional.

Absolutely stress could be the cause. Everybody handles stress differently. Some people can be stressed to the max and be cool as a cucumber. Other can have mild stress and can lead to panic attacks. I have seen both ends of the effects of stress, not me personnally, but family members. Sex is also a state of mind, you can have the slightist thing bothering you and it CAN effect your "performance". You basically have to block everything thats going on in your life, except whats at hand(sex). For some people, it's alot harder to do than others.
