i can see both sides of this argument...however, my main feeling is in the precident that is being set here.  law is based on prior law...cases sited, precidents that have been set.  when the government is unleashed with this sort of power, it becomes hard to reign them in.

let us not forget, before 9/11 we weer all very wary of or govenment.  there were countless post of how people were being charged and harassed for having some basic things around their homes (ie. blackpower, gunpowder, fuses, pipes, etc).  in the ferver of this war on terrorism, many have forgoten all of this.  

do not forget "terrorist" can be a very broadly defined charcterization.  there may come a day when owning an ar-15 can make one a terrorist...or making anit-federal governmnet statements can also bring such critizisms on oneself.  

most the post here aren't so much defending thise "traditional terrorist" but rather are from forward lookers that are concerned how many of us could one day be labeled as "terrorist" simply for the beliefs that we all hold and share now.  sloth
