All the one I deal with have been very thoughtful, mortuary employees, contractors, or Medical Examiner staff.

I guess there's always one.

Brainless owner of 3 privately owned funeral homes here.
I started out picking up bodies from homes, hospitals, nursing homes, etc... How's business in your field of work?
However, one should have more sense than to go to the front door.

Well, statistically you have a 100% chance of dying while you're on this planet... might as well make that last exit memorable

That one usually doesn't last long.

I'm sadly all too familiar with most of the funeral homes, the owners and staff here. Known most personally for years, and sent way too much business their way lately.

Their business lives and dies (pun) on their integrity, dignity, and professionalism.

Dipshits are not tolerated.

Was this funny? Guess that depends on your own personal perspective. Takes every kind of people . . .

I think no.

If you don't learn to see the humor, regardless of how dark it is, your job is going to eat you alive.

I had a 1961 Cadillac hearse in high school, turned it into a party wagon and my hearse was rarely empty

I got it stuck in a cemetery during a blizzard right next to my football coach's house, about 6 of us got it out of the cemetery, next morning the coach asked if that was me I said nooo and smiled so he said ok get out of here

Damn I had some good times in my hearse, a lot more fun than the previous occupants

I delivered a embalming table to a funeral home and the mortician was quite comical telling how business has been piling up since his old table broke
