"Billenium" wins the category Guns I Will Never Own Simply Because The Name is Awful.
"Feg"
Sounds like a joint disorder or something that would cause a bowel obstruction. |
IMI "Barak" (SP21) Sounds like something you do when you are choking on a chicken bone. "excuse me, I <BARAK> help I am choking <BARAK>..." |
Steyer-Manlicher: when showing off your new handgun, one thing you don't want to say is "this is my 'man-licker'."
Ever seen a Bulldog pup? Looks like it got squashed down by a mack truck. The bullpup has the action "squashed down" all the way to the back. |

I think the worst names for a firearm would be:
The Innocent Bystander Destroyer in .50SEC (that's "super-evil cartridge"). or The Baby-Ventilator 3000 in .357KCI ("Kills Children Instantaneously"). If you even SEE a Baby-Ventilator 3000, a newborn puppy dies. It should be available only to law enforcement or Chuck Norris. |

If there was a gun named " Cute fluffy bunny defender," that would suck.
Barak is "lightning" in Hebrew if I'm not mistaken... Baby Eagle is simply ghey. And 90-two is just absolutely stupid. |
I bet your board name doesn't exist come April. |
SPAS had to be the worst. Most owners I saw carring around looked like they were Spastic
Raven
Jennings Lorcin Bryco Phoenix Davis Sundance ... the names aren't all that bad really but they're the worst piece of crap guns made. |
S&W: Military and Police.
What, civilians cant own one? Fuck you S&W, and your leftist PC crap. |
You did the big talk, let's see if you'll put your money where your mouth is... |

Im sorry that you didnt have a lot of friends growing up, but you should calm down. If you want to IM me I have a suicide prevention/anger management hot line number you could call. |

I am with npd. You = dipshit. |
I don't know what is worse. That name, or the fact I laughed out loud at it. |
Street Sweeper or TEC-9. Mabye its just me, but they sound like guns the Dems would want.

Colt made a set of revolvers called “Bonnie” and “Clyde.” Naming a couple of handguns after two notorious criminals had to be the worst naming decision on the part of a major firearms manufacturer.
That was a few years ago though. Now Colt has a policy of not making anything that’s not available from a half dozen other manufacturers. |
No, no -- you've got it wrong. S&W hopes Military and Police will HAVE to use them. We civilians still have the option to choose a better handgun. |
Lady Smith. Don't know if they're still around, but they were silver, and came with pink grips if my memory serves me.
Yup. |

Do BB guns count ?
What kid wants his first gun to be called a Daisy???? Ed |
It's the oldest company in the world. Beretta makes quality stuff and you'd have to be an idiot to claim otherwise. |
Maybe because it is made by F N. |
It is compared to the 20mm M61 it was based off of. |
Hey, better then calling it the Maxi-14 right? |
Major drink spewage. Thanks, FB |

It was originally SUB-9, SUB-40, etc. When it was redesigned with less metal, machining, etc. and more plastic to lower the price (which it did, significantly), they renamed it SUB-2000 to indicate the new, redesigned line. My wife has a SUB-9 and I have have SUB-2000 and they have both been gems. (But I agree that the name is cheesy, as is the P3AT IMHO... even though I carry mine all-day, every-day. ) My vote goes to the new S&W M&P-40 and M&P-15 - IMHO a marketing-driven disservice to a classic, revered line of revolvers... (FWIW, I have no problems with either gun - I just wish they had been marketed under different names, esp. the AR.) |
I agree, but their remake of the 92 called the 90-two is a dumb idea as far as the name goes. |
Kel tec couldnt call the P3AT the P-380 because the name is already in use. They make a version of the P-11 (their compact 9mm) in 380 called the.... you guessed it..... the P-380. They don't sell them in the states, rather they export it to countries that ban the 9mm as a "military cartridge" |
Ha, never even thought of it, Bushmaster. Reminds me of porn and not the gun kind.
WTF? I've never heard of this "90-two". Seriously? If so, very stupid name, indeed. |
Then why not call it the mini-61? |
