That is when Congress certifies/ratifies the results. This is rarely an issue so I do not know if the votes are secret until 6 January 2017.

I just ordered my pink Deplorable hat from Asia for $2.90. Will be here in time for Inauguration Day. Going to Starbucks in a couple to get a feel for today's pain and suffering. My kid's ultra liberal school just did a skit where they had "Trump voters" holding up a "Get Over It" sign. I honestly have no idea what they were trying to accomplish, but I liked it. My prediction on electoral defections today is 8 Hillary and 2 Trump. Best election ever.
