I love fall, fall means salmon/steelhead season

That being said winter stays around for about 7 months here, so I want summer to last a long time, even though its been a shit summer weather wise

I am over and done with this humid hot ass summer. It's been even worse this year with the heat wave and the drought. The extra hours of daylight are useless when I it's to hot to use them. My large Nordic self is build for highs in the 40-50 degree range. Fall and winter can't get here soon enough.

The light already started looking fallish right after the solstice. It has that fall emotional feeling even though it's still hot and muggy as pea soup.

Some of the trees have already started turning colors on a few leaves.

I'm looking forward to hunting. I've never hunted in September before, usually I'm digging through a foot of snow.

Autumn a few seasons back.

We don't get anything here in upstate SC like you do up North, but we still get some nice color on leaves and comfortable and crisp nights and mornings.

I'm looking forward to it finally cooling off and for the first fire in my fireplace.

I'm done with the heat...

Judging by the temps here, the fall got here around the end of May. It's been between the low 70s and low 80s  during the day, and in the 50s and 60s at night all summer. It's rained a ton too. We've had one or two days it hit 90.

I love the fall because I'm a roofer in a hot ass place. Last week it was 106,108,107 with bad air which when added to the heat really exhausts you by the end of the week. I love working when the high is only going to be 85 or 80 instead of 100 by noon.

Fall/Winter/Spring.....all good to go. Summer? Ugh. This summer has been rough, 90+ and awful humidity for most of it so far.

My favorite time of the year August through December.

The leaves start changing, the shadows get longer, the food is better, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, football season, hunting season, warm days and cool nights.

I love the winter, wake up to a 3-4 foot snowfall
6 feet of snowbase around the house
the sound of snowblowers at 5am
chains on trucks running down the highway and Caltrans blasting echo summit
once we get the first winter snow fall, its fucking on

I found a Sam Adams Fall Sampler 2 weeks ago (It was a new one).  That is the official start of fall for me.

Granted, it was 105 yesterday at 1700, but Fall is coming.

I can't wait for fall to get here.  It's been WAY hotter than usual and it came in early on.  Of course, if this year is like all the rest, fall will "feel" like it should for about 2 weeks, then we'll go straight into winter.

Fall is my favorite season.
Cooler temps, earthy smells, time out in the woods hunting....

We get a leaf change sme years around here, but for the most part you dont see much color since 80% of the trees around here are mesquite or cedar.

Dammit, I fucking HATE the summer, especially August in Texas!!!!!

I like and hate fall all at the same time. On one side I like it because the leaves start changing and it gets real pretty outside and the days aren't as hot. But on the flip side it means winter is coming and I absolutely hate winter. Winter can go die in a fire and I wouldn't care. It also means the kids are back in school which means I'll be sitting in traffic again for 4 hours a day.

So yeah, fuck you fall.

I'm sorry fall...I still love you....

Fuck you, fall!!!! I know you've been cheating on me with winter!! Fuck you and winter!!!

I adore fall. I love the colors, I love all the decorations and the crisp air and I really love Halloween. I'm hoping this year I get some good trick or treaters, now that I'm in a house, in a neighborhood with tons of kids.

Most of all, I can't wait for pumpkin spice everything. Unfff.

My favorite season. But it's kinda short here. The sunny days with a cool breeze and color in the trees don't last long and then it starts raining a lot.

This is my wife's reason.

My reasons: Hunting, fishing, cooler weather, fall colors, and the cool bite in the air in the mornings. Fall is my favorite season, as was my reason to live for a lot of years.

Nothing like waking up early, to fresh snowfall, loading my gun and walking in the woods as the morning slowly breaks into day.

I can't wait for fall.  While I do love summer as well, my favorite time of year is undoubtedly fall.

I just love the cool, crisp air.  Nothing is better than a sunny day in the low to mid 60's.

Fall is my time of the year too, maybe because I was born in the fall. As I have gotten older I can't stand the heat, it sucks the life out of me and I get next to nothing done.

US Outdoor, Campsaver, EVO, and especially Sierra Trading Post (if you are subscribed) all have saved me at least 40%. I picked up the Beta AR jacket AND pants for not much more than the regular price of the jacket on its own.

I have always enjoyed the Fall. The older I get now the more I love the Fall. I have turned into a Fall fanatic. I stay outside as much as possible. I live in the middle of some acreage with nature trails around 1 1/2 miles of creek frontage. You know where you can find me in the Fall.

Good friend is a strong man competitor who was ranked internationally a couple of years ago. He is a 6' tall and approx 320.

We are so happy when a hard frost hits we go out in our underwear and roll around in the yard and yell välkommen falla

I did OCS at Quantico.  It was the worst heat (including the middle east) I ever experienced in my life, because it was high 90's with 90+% humidity.  Every.  Stinking.  Day.

I like Virginia folk (NOVA transplants notwithstanding), but as bad as the humidity in PA summers is, VA is just to much for this guy.
