Wow. I never saw that one so I googled it. Must have been done as humor or something.

I agree the original thing movie was great and I really liked the Vampire movies with Peter Cushing back in the 60s.

It turns out that Leonard Nimoy has an uncredited role as a Army Staff Sergeant in "Them!".  Now, I'm going to have to look for him the next time I watch it.

I didn't know that, and I've watched it countless times. Just never caught it I guess. Now I'll have to look for him, too.

He's very easy to spot.

Yeah, I see it now. I just never paid attention to his face.

We have that one and the original Japanese movie it was made from. My son is wearing it out.

It made me laugh when Raymond Burr said "heeleecopter."

So bad it's good.  The 1953 Z-movie scifi classic "Robot Monster" (complete with the Automatic Billion Bubble Machine provided by NA Fischer Chemical Products, Inc).  Has it all--shoestring budget, guy in a (homemade) gorilla suit, two sets and a bunch of outdoor shots, and REALLY bad dialogue and acting.

"We Ro-Mans obtain our strength from the planet Ro-Man, relayed from individual energizers."

"The psychotronic vibrations will smash the planet Earth out of the Universe!!!" (While Komodo dragons with fins glued to their backs to simulate dinosaurs fight.)

So bad it's bad:  I use this movie in white elephant gift exchanges over Christmas.  1964's Santa Clause Conquers the Martians. Pia Zadora in her first acting role (she's 6).  My favorite Rotten Tomatos comment:

The plot, such as it is, proves it is possible to insult the intelligence of a three-year-old.

I got it in a W.E. exchange, with a note--"Bet you can't watch it twice."  I couldn't.

Nosferatu

There was a movie I saw on "Chiller" a few times, kind of scared the crap out of me from the suspense.  I used to think the title was "The IT from Outer Space" but perusing IMDB , that's not the right name, and it isn't "The THING from Outer Space  The scenario was that this rocket ship collected an unwelcome visitor where ever it had been and as it was returning to Earth, the monster starts attacking the crew and working it's way up to the cockpit level by level, and nothing they could do was stopping it, it became a race to get back to earth before it killed all the crew.  I'm not sure I ever finished it.

Lots of favorites already listed, The Creature from the Black Lagoon. Just the other day I was at Barnes and Noble with my two girls. 11 and 8, the older saw it there and said how silly the costume looked. LOL. One not mentioned yet, " I was a teenage Frankenstein ", the alligator used in the movie was actually one used to eat dismembered body parts from a serial killer in Texas.

Never saw this film, just the trailer. . .since it came out in '62, I would have been 6. . .

It disturbed my 6 year old mind quite a bit. . .not sure what movie I was watching that ran the trailer----(but my mom did take me to see "Pit and the Pendulum" when it came out, . .and I was 5 then!  Thanks, Mom for scaring (and scarring) the crap out of me!)

Sorry, can't embed from this computer, . . .here's the link:

Copy the URL you get from the 'Share' button in YouTube, and then paste it into the 'Flash' icon just to the left of the 'Smiley Face' icon.

You seem to already know how to do the above, but...when you paste the URL...

You need to change HTTPS to HTTP. That's what's keeping your videos from embedding properly.
